Glory Johnson is getting pumped up in the Tulsa Shock’s dressing room. One of the great female basketball stars is getting ready to play the Phoenix Mercury. So what? I might hear you say in your mind. It’s a game, isn’t it. Yes it is, but Glory has to play against her fiancé Brittney Griner.
Gloria is 24 years of age and is coming off her best season as a basketball pro when she got third place on the Tulsa Shock’s team with 14.6 points per game. She is also third in the entire
Women’s National Baseball Association (WNBA) at 9.2 rebounds per game.

Brittney was born on October 18, 1990 in Houston, Texas. She plays the Centre position for the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA. She played college basketball sat Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She was the first NCAA basketball player ever to score 2,000 points and to block 500 shots.
Griner, 24, was a high-profile college player at Baylor. She helped the Bears go 40-0 and win the national title in 2011-12 and was a four-time Associated Press All-American. In 2012, the three-time All-American was named the AP Player of the Year and the Most Outstanding Player of the Final Four. In the same year, she received the Best Female Athlete ESPY Award.
Standing 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m) tall, Griner wears a men’s US size 17 shoe and has an arm span of 86 in (2.2 m). In an April 2013 interview with SI.com, she came out publicly as a lesbian.
