If you live in North America, and you are a fan of Portia de Rossi-DeGeneres, you might want to circle October 26, 2013 and add the television station NBC.
Portia will look entirely different from the blond actress/model that we know. Married to ellen, Portia will take on a brunette look and take on the role of Lily in a remake of the television show “The Munsters.” This was a big hit television show of the 1960s. Portia and crew will use the title “Mockingbird Lane” for this new remake.
Portia appeared in a trailer for Mockingbird Lane in a dramatic column of smoke and twirling around with her spider-decorated white dress.
The special, named after the street where the original Munsters house was located – 1313 Mockingbird Lane – also stars Eddie Izzard as vampire Grandpa, Jerry O’Connell as Frankenstein monster Herman, Charity Wakefield as Marilyn, and Mason Cook as werewolf child Eddie.
Portia has just returned from Australia where she was filming a thriller
“Now Add Honey.” Like so many fans, I can’t wait to see Portia in both these very different types of roles.
Portia and ellen are, without doubt, the most famous lesbian and their marriage is such a great example of loving and talented women.
