Dear Mr. President:

Money is power to you.  You have lots of it – good for you.  Your life has been centred mainly on acquiring it.  You have been successful and the world is aware of this.  Now, you are the President of the United States.  People might envy you, but I don’t.  Here is the reason why.

A Scriptural Lesson:  (Matthew 4:8)  Jesus is tempted again by the devil.  it does not matter if you, Mr. President, believe in a devil or the Bible.  There is a lesson here for you and all of us.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms **of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’

11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

“Kingdoms” refer to earthly power.

What does this mean?

It is clear that Jesus was tempted by that aspect of evil – the worship of power and money.   Money and power can always be used for the benefit of the human race.   Money and power are NOT evil things – they can be used for good or evil – selfish or non-selfish ways.

My Dream:  Trump Water Wells; Trump Schools, Trump Small Business Loans for Poor Women/Men;  Trump Irrigation for Developing Countries.    If you feel you don’t way to ‘give your money away’ – then, let third world people work to put up YOUR wells, schools, irrigation projects.

Like all of us, Mr. President, you will die.  There will still be Trump Towers and Trump Golf Courses.  Your children are already rich.

Give your money NOW to good causes.  Be remembered as a great human being.

At this point in time, the world sees you as greedy and out only for your own interests.  You have nothing more to prove – you are either a millionaire or a billionaire.  At this point in time, very few people are interested in whether you build another golf course or hotel or NOT.

Jesus says: .“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

This does not mean that it is wrong to be rich – just reward others with your over abundance.  Be remember ed as a great man, who through skills accumulated money – and then generously gave it away – like billionaire Bill Gates, Hathaway, and others.  Let your name stand with these great people that the world admires.

What would interest people and give you lasting positive history would be to make life easier for those who never had your good fortune.  Sure, you worked for it.  You’ve made it!  Now be generous.  Who knows how many years that you have left.
