If you are a lesbian living in Africa or Asia and feel alone, come and visit my site: stories4hotbloodedlesbians.com. I blog stories about lesbians in Australia, Vietnam, London, Ireland and the United States.
My name is Paula Key and I live in Canada. It is a cold country during the winter with lots of snow. I am lucky to live on a lake where there is a lot of wild life. Occasionally, we can see a bear. I am married to my partner, a woman, because Canada allows for same-sex marriage. I like to travel and I love to write. I am lucky to live in a society that is not overtly prejudice and so I do not have to hide my sexual orientation.
We are everywhere, and I am at my site: http://stories4hotbloodedlesbians.comComing out as a lesbian was not easy for me. Although I live in a tolerant society, I had to face members of my family and friends. I also had to learn to be comfortable with myself. It took me a while to be able to say “honey,” or “babe” or other love words to the first women I dated. I read every book I could about lesbians and lesbians in history. Today, more and more literature and movies are available, but if you live in a country that is Muslim or condemns homosexuality then you need to get an extended family. There are many lesbians in whatever country you live in, but they, like you may be afraid to come out. They may be so scared that they act more feminine then they want to: more makeup, lots of talks about boys/men, discussions of being married, etc. etc.
