1. The longest pregnancy term, but it’s actually the frilled shark (chlamydoselachus anguineus) with a pregnancy term of 42 months. Camels and Giraffes 22 to 24 months.  Dolphins 17-19 months.

2. In London, England, chicken skin gloves were the height of fashion in the 19th century.  They were made from a thin strong leather derived from the skin of unborn calve
