I am a positive and optimistic person.   The glass for me is always ‘half-full.’   Like you, I do have my ‘ups and downs’ and can get upset with persons in the news or the affairs of the world.  With regard to news affecting me as a lesbian person, I may frown or growl, but I look at HOW FAR WE HAVE COME and HOW FAR WE ARE GOING!images-9    While we throw up our arms in despair over the 76 countries that are hateful and deprive our gay brothers/sisters of basic human rights.  You will notice in most of these countries, HETEROSEXUAL women are male-dominated and selective religious texts keep them in bondage.  We only have to look at the wonderful work of Malala of Pakistan and her fight for education for young girls in that country!

So, let’s look at the wonderful, forward looking countries that celebrate men and women.  They also tend to be gay positive respecting homosexual with basic human rights.file:
