Can we measure why Trump’s personality results in groans or cheers? There is a consciousness scale that measures human growth.

American politics has turned into two major island or camps.  The Republicans and Democrats stand on the shore line completely confused by how the other camp thinks.  In my opinion, it all boils down to where people are on the ‘conscience level of growth.’   We know how we react to words and actions, but can our reactions be measured?  We often say, “that’s so negative,” but are there levels of negativity that can be measured.  Recently, I discovered the work of Dr. David R Hawkins and listened to him on a long drive from Ottawa to Toronto.  Hawkins is a psychiatrist, a researcher and a philosopher who has written many books and given countless lectures.  He built his finding on earlier researchers who used kinesiology to study the mind and body.  Basically, a person hold out his/her arm and a tester pushes down.  If the person holds a positive mind-set, the arm is strong.  If there is a negative reaction, the pressure makes the arm become weak.  I have really oversimplified the concept, but please, if interested – read further.

It is hard to refrain from judging Donald Trump when he is such a divisive force, certainly racist, misogynist and displaying a lack of compassion.  He certainly has pride in his fortune.  Are there numbers that calibrate on the human consciousness – Yes, according to Dr. Hawkins.  Whether we are confused by the numbers he places against negative or positive emotions/thoughts, we can agree that in most people our body reacts to the human conditions of fear, anger, cruelty, unkindness, love, unselfishness, etc.  It therefore seems logical that humans at different consciousness levels react either positively or negatively towards Donald Trump.  If you are hateful, have no ethics, it is easy to job a criminal group or mob.

Measuring our Responses

Can we equate joy, anger, fear, peace with numbers? Dr. Hawkins has spent a life developing a map of the consciousness. He and other uses the study of Kinesiology. It is the study of muscles and their movements, especially as applied to physical conditioning.

Kinesiology is defined as the study of muscles and their movements, especially as applied to physical conditioning. The study of kinesiology first gained scientific attention from the work of Dr. George Goodheart, who pioneered the specialty he called Applied Kinesiology, after finding that benign physical stimuli such as beneficial vitamin and mineral supplements would increase the strength of certain indicator muscles, whereas hostile stimuli would cause those muscles to suddenly weaken.

For 20 years Dr. Hawkins used the muscles in the arm to test a response to photos, speeches etc. I don’t want to make this a long scientific article. You can read the works and many books of Hawkins. To summarize, a person stands with a thought of something he or she loves and the pressure on the muscles is obviously strong. Then, with questions, photos and other methods, there is testing for the muscles reactions (and the consciousness) to positive and negative situations.

Callibrations with Numbers

In our everyday conversations, we state that something or someone is negative or positive, uplifting or depressing, evil or good.

Dr. Hawkins has a scale from zero (which is a dead ) there is no response, speech etc to Enlightened Beings that are in the 700s.

He has a scale of 200 which he calls Truth and Courage and everything above it is human progress, human integrity, peace for the human race. Below that level is the negative scale.

Without going into detail about each level – just look at the negative numbers below 200

Pride 175-200   Anger 150-175

Anger and fights

Anger and fights

Desire for Prestige/money/power (for self) 125-150

Fear 100-125 (this is not the survival fear)

Grief 75-100 (constant regret, remorse, failure)

Apathy: (Level of hopelessness)

Guilt and Shame: 30-50 God will damn me, self hatred

Shame– below 30: suicidal range

Death:   Zero.

The Positive Numbers

Courage 200-250: realization of self growth/concern for others.

Neutrality 250-310:   Not tossed about my world’s emotions

Willingness: 310-350 Positive thoughts, working towards positive outcomes – self discipline –

Acceptance 350-400   Using skills, work through action that brings positive results. Belief in self and belief in making a difference to the world.

Reason 400-500.   All knowledge can be used positively to help self and others (or at this level turned into the pride of the intellect)…This will bring a person downwards in energy.

Knowledge in science, medicine that helps the world is positive.

Love 500-540   Greater good of the human race. Heart takes over rather than mind. This is a selfless love that has no desire to enhance self. Ghandi and Mother Theresa are examples.

Joy 540-600

This is the level of saints and advanced spiritual people. As love becomes more unconditional, there follows a constant accompaniment of true happiness. No personal tragedy or world event could ever shake someone living at this level of consciousness. They seem to inspire and lift all those who come in contact with them. Your life is now in complete harmony with the will of Divinity and the fruits of that harmony are expressed in your joy.

Peace 600-700Unknown

Peace is achieved after a life of complete surrender to the Creator. It is where you have transcended all and have entered that place that Hawkins calls illumination. Here, a stillness and silence of mind is achieved, allowing for constant revelation. Only 1 in 10 million (that’s .00001 percent) people will arrive at this level

Enlightenment 700-1000

This is the highest level of human consciousness where one has become like God. Many see this as Christ, Buddha, or Krishna. These are those who have influenced all of mankind.
