Casey Dellacqua was born in Perth, Western Australia in 1985. She is an accomplished tennis player of Italian and Irish descent. In 2015, the Women’s Tennis Association ranked her as No.44 in the world in singles and No. 22 in doubles
Dellacqua’s career highlights are in doubles. To date, she has won four WTA doubles titles and one grand slam mixed doubles title at the 2011 French Open. She has earned over $3.3 million US dollars. She represented Australia in the Beijing Olympics.
Casey began to play tennis with her mom at the age of seven. She moved to Canberra to pursue an atheltic career. For most of her school life, Casey was a member of various tennis clubs.
In August 2013, Casey’s partner, Amanda Judd gave birth to their first child whom they named Blake Benjamin. She later ‘came out’ in an interview about her partner and baby, Blake. It seemed to have surprised the tennis community, but
not her close family and friends.
