Offices of LGBT named with street addresses

The American Family Association is on the list of hate groups.  It is a dangerous right-wing “Christian” association that is listed as a public charity. It  has a budget of around $ 17 million and a membership that gives money and sends emails for their ’cause.’ It was founded in 1977 by Rev. Donaldson Wildmon. It operates out of Tupelo, Mississippi. It has 180,00 paid subscribers. (192 paid members and 175 volunteers).

The Battle Lines Have Formed

It is now February, 2015 and as the remaining U.S states allow same-sex marriage, the opposition is busy passing religious freedom laws that deny basic rights to the LGBT community in terms of housing, work and services.  Arkansas passed this bill a couple of days ago.  It will be the job of the U.S Supreme Court to overturn them – as they did when Arkansas denied black students access to white schools.  It is a hatred game that bolsters these “Christians” with feelings of righteousness and solidarity.  They can’t win but they will blaze hatred across the U.S.A. Have they ever heard of the Good Samaritan Parable, where a lawyer asked “who is my neighbour” and was given the answer “Samaritan” (the most despised of Jesus’ society).

AFA’s Latest Move

The American Family Association (AFA) has published an ‘anti-Christian bigotry map’ that pinpoints the exact locations for all the offices of two LGBTI rights groups. The map divides ‘bigots’ into four categories: anti-Christians, atheists, humanists and those with a ‘homosexual agenda.’

AFA Alerts –

Whenever a religion( other than Christianity) is given prominent notice, AFA send out alerts to their paid followers.  Political action must be taken and the devotees of AFA feel it is their “Christian duty” to put pressure on elected officials.  Here are two alerts that are so stupid that one cannot image anyone obeying these alerts.

1. NO KORAN :Nov. 26, 2006 when Keith Ellison, first Muslim elected to United States Congress, used a Koran instead of a bible. An alert was sent out.

2. NO HINDU PRAYER On July 13, 2007, a Hindu prayer was conducted in the U.S Senate. Rajan Zed, director of interfaith relations at a Hindu temple, read the prayer at the invitation of Senate majority  leader , who defended his invitation based on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.  An alert went out stating the prayer was “seeking the invocation of a non-monotheistic god.

The AFA is taking many pages from good propagandists like Joseph Goebbels who worked for Hitler.  He stated that the propaganda does not have to make sense or it doesn’t have to tell the truth – it just has to be believed and to become popular.  So people like Bryan Fischer and ex. AFA member Scott Lively would make Goebbels proud.

1. Hitler and Homosexuals

It amazes me constantly that Scott Lively an ex member of AFA can write a book of lies called “Pink Swastika.” Rev.  Lively and  the members of AFA constantly claim that Hitler was a homosexual and that the Nazi party was started by homosexuals.  History claims other wise and we have Hitler’s Munich speech where he threatens that any homosexuals in the Nazi party or armed forces will be killed.

Back-pedalling AFA in 2015

In 2015, the organisation officially repudiated views of former Director of Issues Analysis Bryan Fischer,  including the claim that black people “rut like rabbits”; that the First Amendment applies only to Christians; that Hispanics are “socialists by nature” and come to the U.S. to “plunder” the country; that Hillary Clinton is a lesbian, and that “Homosexuality gave us Adolph Hitler, and homosexuals in the military gave us the Brown Shirts, the Nazi war machine and six million dead Jews.”

Unknown-13Fighting AFA and Other Hate Organizations

In 2010, AFA was listed as a HATE GROUP by Southern Poverty Law Centre – known as SPLC.  It was accused by SPLC for spreading “”propagation of known falsehoods” and the use of “demonizing propaganda” against LGBT people.”

It is noteworthy that SPLC is representing the Uganda LGBT group that has brought a plea of “Crimes Against Humanity” against Rev. Scott Lively – whom I stated before, is an ex. AFA member.  If it is anything like the saying of the KKK, “once a member, always a member” that we can conclude that leopards do not “change their spots.”

What a Waste of Christianity!

If asked, the ordinary citizen would probably chose to pursue items of positivity rather than negativity.  Why would Christian groups, like the AFA, choose to spread hatred in a world that could use their $17 million budget to dig wells, educate children and do the orders of Jesus:  Feed the poor, Clothe the Naked, Visit the Prisoners – and – Spread God’s LOVE.   paula
